POSITION SUMMARY:


We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant lll.  This position is responsible for entering the office’s daily activity into the performance database and generate daily performance data sheets for MTAPF Districts and related duties as assigned. This full-time position is $16.63 per and is located in Baltimore, MD.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing calendars for IT Leadership

  • assisting with administrative duties such as credit card reconciliation

  • handling incoming phone calls and appropriately routing IT requests

  • managing all IT mail and packages

  • coordinating with Admin Assistants of other departments to schedule meetings and meeting rooms/logistics as needed

  • sending Agency-wide emails on behalf of IT as needed

  • coordinating with IT Teams and other Administrative Assistants to ensure contact info listed is correct

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as assigned.

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures, to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

  • Efficiently performs duties as assigned and works as a team within division and company.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications :

Required Skills/Abilities:





  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills within the English language.

  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

  • Proven, high quality customer service (internal and external customers).

  • Ability to work collaboratively.

  • Solid ability to analyze situations carefully and adopt appropriate courses of action.

  •  Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to effectively communicate to large and small group audiences.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Ability to operate general office equipment.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.




Education and Experience:



  • Highschool diploma required. 

  • 1+ years experience in an office setting. 

  • 1+ year of customer service experience. 




Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times. 

  • Standard hours of work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Friday

  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
