POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a business professional environment with a high volume of clientele and excel at multitasking in a dynamic setting. This Full-time position starts at $25 per hour and is located in Fairfax, VA.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, the public, and local authorities, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage a high volume of inquiries and interactions, both in person and through phone and email communications.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and handling correspondence with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support team operations by coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Proven, high quality customer service (internal and external customers).
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Solid ability to analyze situations carefully and adopt appropriate courses of action.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- An ability to effectively communicate to large and small group audiences.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Efficiently performs duties as assigned and works as a team within division and company.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in a professional business environment, particularly one with high-volume clientele.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in standard office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or similar role
- Experience in a professional business environment with high-volume clientele (required).
- Customer service experience, including interaction with diverse groups such as employees, the public, and local authorities.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.
- Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
