Job Description :

SUMMARY:


 ATHENA Consulting is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant for one of our clients located in Baltimore, MD.  This position is currently working remotely but could be required to report to the office in downtown Baltimore in the future.  The position is 40 hours per week and pays $15-16 per hour depending on experience.




JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maintains project data in accordance with project operation and contractual reporting protocols.

  • Maintain the consistency and integrity of the project database.

  • Manages projects statistical and production data as required.

  • Receives and tracks referrals received by the project.

  • Establishes and maintains management files.

  • Assists in compiling briefing materials for presentations.

  • Orders office supplies and maintains an inventory of current supplies.

  • Photocopies and distributes memoranda, reports, and other written materials to staff as directed.

  • Obtains supporting documentation needed to support SSI applications.

  • Obtains signatures on releases of information.

  • Ensures consistent application of all confidentiality laws and regulations pertinent to the SSI program

  • Manages mail to/from the program

  • Distributes mail and all outside communication to appropriate staff

  • Provides administrative and operations support to project staff as directed.

  • Scans and inputs documentation into the centralized database

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management


Required Qualifications :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 



  • High School diploma or GED certification; Associate’s degree preferred; two years previous experience in a similar position.

  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Knowledge of database and presentation programs, such as Microsoft Access and PowerPoint;

  • Knowledge of the use of other general office equipment.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment.

  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

  • Be able to type at least 55 words per minute.
