POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting an LMSW Social Worker. This part-time position of 20 hours a week pays $40 an hour and is in Rockville, MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides; individual, family, and group therapy and site-based case management as needed to effectively collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary staff


• Improve community functioning and self-sufficiency and to attain the client’s desired outcomes.


• Provides each client an ongoing assessment,


• Develops a person-centered treatment plan,


• Defines appropriate modalities with the team,


• Implements the plan, evaluates client progress regularly, and modifies interventions as needed to assist the client to achieve their goals.


• Collaborates closely with the rest of the treatment team as well as other programs serving the client and participates effectively in the continuum of services.


• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Spanish bilingual, required 


• Experience providing screenings, assessments, case management, and writing summaries


• Knowledge of community resources


• Ability to maintain electronic case management documentation


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.


• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.


• Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, required.


• Bachelor’s degree in related field, required


• Master’s Degree in mental health profession: Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Drug and Alcohol Mental Health Counseling

Physical Requirements:

·       Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·       Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required. 

·       Travel will be required.
