Court Unit/ Fiscal Accounts Technician Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for a
Court Unit/ Fiscal Accounts Technician Specialist.. This full-time position pays $18.51 per hour and is located in Baltimore, MD. $500 sign-on bonus upon completing the 90-day training.
Classroom Training
40 hours scheduled within Mon-Fri; 8:30am to 5:30pm for the first 3 weeks of classroom training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities for Court Ordered Audits:
· Work state system prompts to keep case information current and support automated case actions.
· Analyze case information and take next steps pursuant to State policies and procedures.
· Prepare legal documents and correspondence related to a case maintenance to ensure accounts are charging accurately.
· Update state system with appropriate new information and records detail of customer contacts
· Communicating directly with Magistrates, Judges and Attorneys in regard to audits completed in a timely manner.
· Receive, evaluate, and resolve customer complaints regarding accounts.
· Update state system with appropriate new information and records detail of customer contacts.
· Travel to the courthouse and provide testimonies in open and court and on the record of outcome of the audit.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills within the English language.
Proven, high-quality customer service (internal and external customers).
Ability to work collaboratively.
Solid ability to analyze situations carefully and adopt appropriate courses of action.
Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to effectively communicate to large and small group audiences.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in the administrative field preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift and move up to 25 – 50 pounds at times.
Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, however, evening and weekend hours may be required.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
