POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting for a Data Management Specialist. This full-time position pays $­­­­26/hr, and is located in Cranston, RI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and enter data for long-term care data sets


• Prepare and submit data to the Centers for Medicaid Services (CMS)


• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data collected


• Perform data validation and quality control to ensure completeness and compliance with regulatory standards


• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to understand how data is collected for CMS reporting


• Experience preparing and submitting data to Center for Medicaid Services


• Experience developing processes for data collection and management


• Experience with medical records and data management teams


• Experience in hospital administration is a plus


• Strong data entry skills


• Ability to multitask and be flexible


• Highly motivated
