POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Public Safety Supply Operations Specialist to support front counter and warehouse operations within a public safety supply environment. This is a front-facing, customer service role that also includes essential warehouse responsibilities such as inventory control, manual labor, and data entry. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and can operate efficiently in both customer service and physical warehouse settings.
This full- time, position pays $18.50 an hour and is in Rockville, MD.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Serve as the primary point of contact at the front counter, assisting internal customers and handling supply requests.
· Perform inventory management tasks including receiving, stocking, tracking, and reconciling inventory items.
· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders in a safe and efficient manner.
· Lift, carry, and move boxes and equipment as part of daily warehouse operations.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space through routine housekeeping duties.
· Perform accurate data entry and manage inventory records using Excel and warehouse systems.
· Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and label makers.
· Follow directions and established procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Proven experience in both warehouse operations and front counter/customer service roles.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse personnel.
· Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Reliable and punctual; able to consistently meet the 7:30 AM start time.
· Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.
· Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
· Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required.
· Travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement
