POSITION SUMMARY:


 


We are currently recruiting a General Administrative / Program Management Specialist IV. This full-time position is $22.50 per hour and is in Rockville, Maryland.


 


Employees assigned to this position are subject to Union membership, fees, and dues in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, and employment with ATHENA may be conditioned upon participation in client’s Union.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prior experience working with large amounts of data.

  • Ability to organize, analyze and interpret large set Data. 

  • Manage, track, assess, and evaluate program budget issues 

  • Participate in local and state systems training and implementation processes. 

  • Provide excellent customer services and technical assistance to stakeholders regarding constituent matters

  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.

  • Interact with program staff by telephone calls, emails, and mails to ensure that spending of HB669 allocated funds are ongoing.

  • Organize, file, collect and maintain data in Smartsheet and excel.

  • Support in preparing web aid entries.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications :

Required Skills/Abilities:


 



  • Two years of experience in a data entry, customer service, and office setting. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Data Analysis, 

  • Excel Skills, 

  • Grant and Budget Skillsets.

  • Must be able to prioritize plan and handle multiple task/demands.

  • Possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate well in both written and oral form, in a satisfactory manner.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education and Experience:


 


·       High school diploma with at least 2 years work experience


·       Required valid Maryland State Driver’s License


 


Physical Requirements:


 


·       Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


·       Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times. 


·       Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required. 


·       Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
