POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting a Licensed Social Worker. This full-time position pays $43.00 per hour. This is an on-site role located in Rockville Maryland. Must be a Licensed Social Worker.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

·       Provide case management services to vulnerable adults, 18 and over, who have disabilities and receive care and supervision in community-based residential placements.

·       Maintenance of prompt and regular attendance at work, ensuring a 40-hour workweek, utilizing Outlook as required.

·       Must be accessible, utilizing Outlook Calendar to share with Supervisor and Team.

·       Completes documentation in the electronic client files within 24 hours or within 72 hours of work week contact, and prior to planned absence.

·       Works collaboratively with supervisor, ensuring appropriate reciprocal respectful/professional communication.

·       Informs supervisor of developing or potential problems as well as general case updates, via timely consultation or written documentation.

·       Submit monthly statistics, accurate payment worksheets and authorization forms in a timely manner

·       Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·       Experience in providing assessment and case management services to frail elders and persons with disabilities

·       Experience in writing psychosocial summaries, conducting clinical assessments,

·       Excellent writing and communication skills

·       Knowledge of community resources

·       Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Ability to track and report data on a timely basis.

·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

·       Master’s Degree in Social Work

·       LCSW, LCSW-C, LMSW licensure from the State of Maryland Board of Social Work

Physical Requirements:

·       Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·       Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times. 

·       Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required.
