Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (no weekends required).

Overview:
The Office of the Director, within the Community Behavioral Health and Social Determinants Section, is seeking a temporary contractual Management Analyst III for the Addiction and Transition Services unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial oversight and support, ensuring compliance with budgets, agreements, grants, and regulations. This role will focus on monitoring and analyzing budgets and expenditures within the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor budgets and expenditures within DSAMH, ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations.
- Maintain financial records, review program expenditures, and reconcile budgets.
- Analyze and report on financial data to ensure effective and efficient accounting of funds.
- Prepare for and assist with financial audits.
- Process financial requests, including reviewing, analyzing, and verifying expenditures.
- Collaborate with management to develop alternatives for financial problem-solving.
- Advise management on financial decisions and strategies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in ensuring compliance of financial transactions with budgets, agreements, grants, or contracts, and state or federal laws and regulations.
- Education/Training: Coursework, training, or work experience in managing budgets, ensuring expenditure remains within limitations.
- Experience in Financial Analysis: At least 3 years in compiling, analyzing, and reporting on financial data.
- Problem-Solving: At least 3 years of experience in analyzing financial problems, recommending solutions, and advising management.
- Skills: Strong financial record-keeping, reporting, and budget monitoring skills.
