POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting a Program Admin V. This full- time position pays $34 an hour and is in Rockville, MD.
The Program Admin V performs a wide range of fiscal, administrative, and operational tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental functions. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in data analysis, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while meeting strict deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain and update various spreadsheets, including Contract Spreadsheet, Athena Broker Spreadsheet, Temporary Staff Spreadsheet, Non-Competitive List, and others.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in budget codes, program categories, contract details, and award types.
- Generate and analyze reports from tools such as Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) and Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS/ERP) (training provided).
- Conduct inquiries related to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Projects and Grants (PnG), and Purchase Orders.
- Prepare financial documents, including journal entries and Web ADIs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform detailed research and analysis of financial and operational data to support decision-making.
- Draft responses to correspondence and prepare formal memorandums.
- Establish and prioritize work tasks to maintain seamless workflows within the division.
- Prepare and submit IT request forms and update the department’s inventory list.
- Devise and implement forms and office procedures to optimize work activities.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in administrative processes.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to meet organizational goals.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in data management tools and financial reporting systems (e.g., BI, Oracle EBS/ERP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated.
· Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
· Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, required.
- 2+ years of experience with finance and managing budgets
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, however evening and weekend hours may be required.
